Recruiting Now: To apply for a Graduate Work Placement
Summer Placements
This year we are introducing our Summer Placement, due to the immense popularity of the G Programme.
The Summer Placement is a 6 weeks work placement full time. Working hours Mon-Fri 9.30 - 16.30.
As a Trainee at De Vere Private Equity (DVPE), you are an employee. You will be exposed to many parts of the business to help you gain knowledge, experience and apply what skills you have learnt at university. Remember, your university studies are merely theory, applying them into real life cases is a different story.
You will be involved in many projects, some large some small. But each project will be aimed at developing you, you will be growing as the projects grow. You will be working in teams and on your own. This Trainee Programme will give you an overview of what is required to deliver successful projects on a practical operational level.
The Summer Placement programme will be intense and fast. You are not paid for your Summer Placement as it is aimed at developing you as opposed to you delivering a service to the company.
We will expose you to:
1. Project Management
2. Team Co-ordination
3. Admin Maintenance
4. Financial Handling
5. Client Liaison
6. IT Infrastructures
7. Product Development

Last few words of wisdom...
We advise under-graduates to take a year out for employment during studies or work with us part time whilst studying. Even tough most students like to get their studies over and done with, the time taken to gain work experience will pay off after you graduate.
Your aim during this period is not to earn as much money as you can, but to be in a job that will enable you to develop yourself to the standards that will be required when you target you chosen career.
Lets us help you develop yourself, acquire the skills you need and move you forward. We will prime you to be the best. That’s a promise! Give yourself the edge…..
