Recruiting Now: To apply for a Graduate Work Placement
G-Programme - Objectives
What is the G-Programme?
As a Trainee at De Vere Private Equity (DVPE), you are an employee. You will be exposed to many parts of the business to help you gain knowledge, experience and apply what skills you have learnt at university. Remember, your university studies are merely theory, applying them into real life cases is a different story.
You will be involved in many projects, some large some small. But each project will be aimed at developing you, you will be growing as the projects grow. You will be working in teams and on your own. This Trainee Programme will give you an overview of what is required to deliver successful projects on a practical operational level.
You will be given regular monthly reviews to highlight your strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement. We will drive you to become the best at what you do and guide you all the way. By the time you have finished your programme with us, you will be primed for the career you have been studying for.
Our Trainee Programme is for 6 months. You are tied to a minimum 6 month contract. You may renew your contract if you wish. You will also get opportunities to recommend friends to join your team during the programme as projects expand.
The programme is part-time to cater for your studies. However full time positions are available should you choose. You are not paid on our Trainee Programme, as it is aimed at developing you as opposed to you delivering a service to the company.
We will expose you to:
1. Project Management
2. Team Co-ordination
3. Admin Maintenance
4. Financial Handling
5. Client Liaison
6. IT Infrastructures
7. Product Development
8. Marketing
9. Business Organisation
10. Business Development
11. Software Development
12. Web Development
You can choose the field you wish to be employed in. The table below briefly illustrates the various roles and duties in short. All roles are targeted at helping you develop a variety of skills as well as utilise your university obtained knowledge. These roles are targeted at developing Trainees with backgrounds in relevant and related disciplines. For instance, if your degree is in Arts, it is very unlikely you will get a position as a Financial Analyst.
